Paihia Rubbish Blitz

Hello!

I thought it would be a great community activity for our town to join in – If there is any opportunity today for you to promote this, or forward this email on to anyone you think might want to know about it, that would be awesome!

We are creating an opportunity to gather as one community, strengthening bonds between neighbours, young and old alike!  Whilst also being kaitiaki of this beautiful place we call home.  After meeting at 9am for a quick safety and info briefing, we will head out in groups to collect rubbish from anywhere we see it – roadsides, footpaths, beach, carparks etc.  At 10.15am we will gather back at The Ecohive Collective to see what we found!  And share a hot chocolate or tea (free for volunteers) and korero.
