The Live Ocean Winter Dip is back and we’re upping the challenge for 2023! Take a mid-winter icy plunge on the shortest day – Thursday 22 June to help us spread the word around the need for a healthy ocean for a healthy future.
The Bay of Island Yacht Club is hosting this FREE event to raise awareness for ocean quality in Aotearoa

In 2021, the team of Auckland Museum sharks took out the title for ‘Coolest Dip’. This year we’re making the competition official. Get creative and you could score bragging rights plus a Live Ocean prize pack – winners picked by our cold water expert Jono Ridler.
