The Divine Remains, a fine art/botanical science photography exhibition, explores the fragile Victorian art of pressed flowers creating a bold and enchanting display. David Lupton has paired up with award-winning Central American poet, Leonel Alvarado, who has captioned the photographs with unique poems – an exhibition not to be missed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]To coincide with The Divine Remains exhibition our Education team, with the help of artist David Lupton, have conceived an exciting School Holiday Programme themed on pressed flower art. Children will learn the unique art of pressing flowers while creating a variety of crafts from bookmarks to magnets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

School holidays activities

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]To coincide with The Divine Remains exhibition our Education team, with the help of artist David Lupton, have conceived an exciting School Holiday Programme themed on pressed flower art. Children will learn the unique art of pressing flowers while creating a variety of crafts from bookmarks to magnets.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Please note this programme is designed for families and unfortunately will not be able to accommodate community groups.

Monday 7th October – Bookmarks
Join us as we explore the art of flower pressing and create your own bookmark.

Tuesday 8th October – Leaf Bugs
Use your imagination to create magnets out of leaves.

Wednesday 9th October – Sun Catchers
Get creative and design a flower pressed sun catcher.

Thursday 10th October – Badges
Experiment with pressed flowers and create some cool badges for you to take home and wear.

Friday 11th October – Jewellery
