BAY OF ISLANDS CLASSIC – Banana Boat New Zealand Ocean Swim Series
Enjoy a summer break in the ‘eternally sunny’ Bay of Islands with our crowd favourite ‘Bay of Islands Classic’.
For the first time in the event’s 9 year history, the 3.3km ‘I’m Going Long’ course will be in reverse (starting at Paihia Beach, finishing in Russell) and as a Series first, a twilight swim!
Russell will play host to the event, with the main event site there and the ‘Step it Up’ 1km, ‘Give it a Go’ 500m and ‘Banana Boat OceanKids’ 200m event distances taking place off Russell Beach throughout the afternoon, prior to the start of the 3.3km event.
