North Base is a completely remodeled family home in a residential part of Paihia, purpose-designed for use by groups of family or friends enjoying a Bay of islands holiday together. The property is a short stroll across the park to Paihia’s shopping and restaurant district, and only five minutes’ walk to the beach and ferry wharf.
The top level is North Base House, a luxury 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom holiday home with sleeping for ten people. Two bedrooms have super king beds that convert to king singles, there is one standard double and a 4-bed bunkroom. The spacious lounge looks out over the Paihia business district and beyond to the bay. The adjoining deck complete with BBQ and seating for all guests provides comfortable indoor/outdoor living. North Base House is fully-equipped with a modern kitchen and laundry with dryer, and there’s an outdoor shower. .
North Base Apartment is finished and furnished to the same high standard. There is one bedroom in the main building plus a detached double-bed cabin with bathroom for additional accommodation. The apartment has a small outdoor seating area with BBQ, and a spa bath in the spacious bathroom.
The units are quite separate from one another and are fully soundproofed. Cleanliness is a priority and the property has a 5-star cleanliness review. All surfaces are disinfected then polished as an extra precaution. Both units have Smart TVs with all your favourite channels on stream. Wi-Fi is of course available and there is ample off-street parking.
Both units of accommodation can be combined in a booking to sleep upwards of 14 people, subject to availability, and long-term stays at special rates are possible on enquiry.
The owners reside in a neighbouring and the door will be open and the welcome mat out for your arrival.
