We have SO much for families to come and explore, including ocean games, underwater VR, marine science activities, ocean artwork, SeaWeek colouring contest, flax fish weaving, coastal clean-up, an island animal adventure and more!
This family friendly event is free to the community, funded by NZ SeaWeek, perfect for tamariki age 5-12. Event starts at 10am and ends at 2pm. Please RSVP to the event link!
Visiting Aroha Island:
-Aroha Island is a culturally and environmentally significant place located in the beautiful Kerikeri inlet. We ask all visitors to please be respectful of the motu while visiting for the day.
-Aroha Island is located at 177 Rangitane Road, Kerikeri (10 minutes from Kerikeri town centre) and is accessible by car.

Parking:
-Carpooling is encouraged and parking is limited
-Gates will open at 9:30am with volunteers in high vis vests to help guide traffic
-PLEASE drive slow as there will be children and pedestrians around the island
