Makana Confections specialises in gift-quality confections – all hand-made and using only the freshest, natural ingredients available to us.
You are welcome to visit our two boutique chocolate factories in New Zealand — one in the beautiful Bay of Islands area of the North Island and the other in the heart of the Marlborough Wine Trail at the top of the South Island. Freshness!
Because we deal directly with our customers (with no middlemen, wholesalers or retailers) Makana products are as fresh as they can be. At Makana we never add artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives and all our confections are made with the finest and freshest ingredients possible to ensure your absolute satisfaction. Delivery to most New Zealand addresses (rural addresses take a little bit longer) are usually the next day ensuring your product is delivered as fresh as possible.
Quality!
We start with the best possible ingredients, of course, and we never skimp on the premium ingredients. For example, if macadamia nuts are featured, you can be sure that our recipes include generous quantities of macadamia kernels. We make all of our products by hand in small batches. We also hand pack all of our products by hand which gives us an additional level of control over the product quality.
Presentation!
We recognise that many of our customers buy our products as gifts for family, friends and associates. Therefore, our commitment to quality doesn’t stop with the products inside our boxes, but extends to the entire presentation of our product. Our packaging is clean and crisp, and our gift wrapping (complimentary, of course) is designed to make an elegant first impression. Makana gifts are always appropriate, always appreciated.
