Flying fish design store opens its doors every morning in Paihia in the wonderful Bay
of Islands, New Zealand. It all began in November 2003 with a determination to give
visitors a better shopping experience which included sourcing products direct from
some of the most talented artisans in New Zealand. Our store soon became a
favourite with locals as well. To complement our physical store we also have an
online presence at www.flyingfishdesign.co.nz which was launched in November
2007. Through flying fish online we can keep in touch with our customers from New
Zealand and around the globe who visit and love our Paihia store while on holiday. It
also allows us to connect with those of you who have not yet had the chance to visit
this stunning part of the world but would like to shop in one of New Zealand’s most
