CHRISTMAS CAROLS @ POMPALLIER
One of Russell’s long-standing must-do festive events is nearly here!
Join us under the beautiful pohutukawa trees in the gardens of Pompallier Mission and Printery for our annual Christmas Carols on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This fun, free family and community celebration continues a 20-year carolling tradition and is the perfect way to welcome the Christmas holidays.
Come dressed as your best elves and angels (all ages welcome!) and don’t be shy—Kaua e whakamā, haere mai ki te waiata i a mātou! Volunteers will be collecting koha for Hospice Mid-North on the day.
Bring a rug and a picnic for the whānau.
Gates open at 5:30pm and carols begin at 6pm.
If the weather turns, the historic Christ Church in Kororāreka will serve as the indoor backup venue.
This is an alcohol-free event. Pompallier Mission is a smoke-free and vape-free property.
